meviy now offers a DXF download feature that lets customers create drawing files directly in the interface after a part number has been issued. This makes it easier to use part drawings for documentation, inspection, and version management. The DXF file is generated based on the geometry and specifications defined during the quotation process.

  • Instant DXF generation: download the drawing directly from the part page after issuing a part number.
  • Supports documentation workflows: useful for internal records, drawing inspections, and version control.

– Expansion of tolerance range up to 0.02 by MQ

meviy now supports tighter machining tolerances down to ±0.01 mm via Manual Quote (MQ), enabling production grade precision for assembly-critical components. For assembly-critical parts, even minimal deviations can cause fitting issues or rework. With this release, you can now specify ±0.01 mm tolerances directly from your CAD upload, while suitable parts are routed through Manual Quote without interrupting the ordering process.

– Roll Radius Bending Now Available

meviy now supports RR (Roll Radius) bending with dedicated R-bend tooling, making it easier to quote and order parts with R-curved shapes.

If a shape is difficult to process with FR (feeding radius) bending, meviy can now detect it and suggest an automatic radius adjustment. Once accepted, the part is converted to a suitable approximate radius for RR bending, helping the order proceed smoothly through automatic quotation.

  • Automatic guidance: meviy identifies problematic R-bends and proposes a manufacturable radius.

– Improved Recognition for Narrow Pocket Grooves​

meviy now recognizes narrow parallel grooves under 2 mm more accurately and automatically applies the optimal machining method, helping more designs pass through instant quotation.

With this update, 1 to 2 mm grooves are detected correctly, corner-R sections are no longer treated as the minimum width by mistake, and engineers can specify tight tolerances, such as 1.2 mm ±0.05, without redesign.

– Automatic Tolerance Setup for Precision Holes

meviy now makes it easier to handle precision holes by automatically assigning positional dimensions and tolerance settings after model upload.

Previously, engineers often had to define these settings manually for each precision hole, which could be time-consuming for parts with many holes.

With this v3 update, meviy can detect precision holes through CAD color attributes or hole-type linkage, helping apply the required dimensions and tolerances automatically during upload.
